There are ways a person can resolve the problem of depression without the use of dangerous, mind altering drugs. There are cheaper, more effective solutions.

One might start by improving one's diet and getting a proper amount of sleep. A simple measure like this can improve one's outlook on life almost immediately. Statistically, a friend or pastor just by listening can do more than psychiatric based "help".
