Q: What Is Dianetics?
The word Dianetics comes from the Greek dia, meaning "through" and nous, meaning "soul", and is defined as "what the soul is doing to the body." Dianetics is a methodology which can help alleviate unwanted sensations and emotions, irrational fears and psychosomatic illnesses (illnesses caused or aggravated by mental stress). It is most accurately described as what the soul is doing to the body through the mind.

The mind is basically a communication and control system between the person and his environment. It is composed of mental image pictures, which are recordings of past experiences. The reactive mind is the portion of a person’s mind which works on a totally stimulus-response basis, which is not under his volitional (willing) control, and which exerts force and the power of command over his awareness, purposes, thoughts, body and actions. Q: What Is Auditing?
Auditing is the application of Dianetics processes and procedures to someone by a trained auditor. The exact definition of auditing is: The action of asking a person a question (which he can understand and answer), getting an answer to that question and acknowledging him for that answer.
Q: Who Is L. Ron Hubbard?
L. Ron Hubbard is the founder of Dianetics technology and the Scientology religion . Q: How Did Dianetics Start?
Dianetics technology was developed by renowned American author and philosopher L. Ron Hubbard. L. Ron Hubbard began his study of the mind in 1923. Through his extensive travels, study of many cultures around the world and scientific research, he developed and tested man’s first fully workable technology of the mind. In 1950, Mr. Hubbard wrote Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, a comprehensive work detailing his discoveries and techniques and the first and only definitive manual of the mind. Q: Is It Okay To Have Sex When I'm Pregnant?
Engrams can be created during sex. "The prenatal engram is far more serious than the postnatal." (Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health - Chapter 10, Preventative Dianetics) One should take particular care around a pregnant woman, and women in general for that matter, for who knows if they are pregnant or not. If a pregnant woman is bumped or injured it is especially important to maintain silence. Any words spoken can be recorded in the Reactive Mind with the potential to adversely affect the person later in life.
Q: When Should I Start Auditing My Child?
This will depend on the child. As early as possible. Often around age eight. You can start with Self Analysis (contact us for information on Self Anaylsis). Because children are children you will need to be very professional and treat them with the utmost respect. Know your material well before starting. By auditing your child early on when a person learns so much, you free up the standard memory banks and the child will have an enormous advantage.
